東日本大震災から11年。
東日本大震災とそれに伴う東京電力福島第一原子力発電所の事故により、大量の放射性物質が環境中に放出され、広範囲に極めて重大な影響を及ぼし、多くの住民の方が避難を余儀なくされました。
この11年間、環境省では多くの皆様のご協力を得ながら、世界的にも前例のない規模と方法で除染などの環境再生事業に取り組んできました。
現在では避難指示も順次解除され、新たなまちづくりを目指した拠点の整備も進んでいます。
かつての被災から復興が進む地域、再生可能エネルギーの積極的導入など持続可能な社会の実現に向けて取り組む地域。ここではかつてのにぎわいを取り戻すとともに、福島起点の新しい交流が生まれています。
11 years have passed since the Great East Japan Earthquake.
The Great East Japan Earthquake and the accident at Tokyo Electric Power Company’s Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station released large amounts of radioactive substances into the environment, forcing many residents to evacuate.
During the past 11 years, with the warm and continuous support of many people, the Ministry of the Environment has worked for decontamination and environmental restoration on a scale and with methods that are unprecedented in the world. The evacuation orders are being steadily lifted and preparation of sites for new town development is underway.
Communities are recovering from the disaster, and are working to create a sustainable society through means such as active introduction of renewable energy. This is bringing communities back to their former activity and giving birth to new communication centered in Fukushima.
FUKUSHIMA NEXT 2022
2011年東日本大震災と東京電力福島第一原子力発電所の事故により、甚大なダメージを受けた福島。
その窮状からの復興・再生という困難な事業に、官民が一体となって取り組んできました。
そして2022年現在、人々は故郷に戻り、ロボット、エネルギー、農林水産など様々な分野で新しいチャレンジが始まっています。
壊滅的なダメージから未来に向かって変革を続ける福島の姿を、正しく伝え記憶に留めるために、この動画は制作されました。
Fukushima suffered severe damage as a result of the Great East Japan Earthquake and the accident at TEPCO’s Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station in 2011.
Government and private enterprise joined together to address the difficult project of reconstruction and revitalization from this great adversity.
Now in 2022, people are gradually returning to their hometowns, and new challenges are being undertaken in fields such as robotics, energy, and agriculture, forestry, and fisheries.
This video was produced in order to ensure that people learn and remember information accurately about Fukushima, as it continually innovates to progress from catastrophic damage to the future.

Progress of Environmental Restoration in Fukushima
多くの方の尽力、先端技術を用いて取り組み続けた、福島復興の11年とはどのようなものだったのでしょうか。
数多くの課題もありますが、今日も福島は一歩一歩、前へ進んでいます。
明日の可能性を信じ、力強く前進する福島の姿を一人でも多くの方に知っていただきたい。
その思いから、11年を節目に、福島の復興への取組を以下にご紹介します。
Here we present an overview of the 11 years of Fukushima’s revitalization – a continuing project that has involved the use of advanced technologies and extraordinary efforts by many people. Although the revitalization has encountered many difficulties, Fukushima continues to make steady progress one step at a time.
We would like as many people as possible to know about Fukushima as it creates a strong path forward, believing in the potential of tomorrow and the future.
Based on these thoughts, here at the 11th anniversary we present an overview of the revitalization programs in Fukushima.

11years after the Great East Japan Earthquake and the Future.

将来にわたって居住を制限するとされてきた
帰還困難区域内に、避難指示を解除して居住を可能と
定めることが可能となった「特定復興再生拠点区域」。
国と自治体による懸命な帰還環境整備が行われ、
2022年、双葉町、葛尾村、大熊町の拠点の避難指示が解除されました。
In the designated “Restricted area” where residence had been expected to be permanently restricted, a “Reconstruction and Revitalization Bases Area” has been created where the evacuation orders can be lifted and people can reside. The national and local governments are making all the efforts to restore the environment so that people can return, and the evacuation orders were lifted in 2022 at sites in Futaba Town, Katsurao Village, and Okuma Town.

東日本大震災と東京電力福島第一原子力発電所の事故から11年あまり、着実に復興のあゆみを進める福島。
まちづくりや新しい産業の振興は進み、かつての活気が戻りつつあります。
そんな福島の「過去・現在・未来」のありのままの姿を知り、そこから学ぼうとする多くの人々が福島を訪れています。
震災のダメージを受けた過去から、未来に向かって環境先端地域へと進化を続ける福島から得るものは少なくありません。
より多くの人に福島を訪れ、知ってもらうために、この動画は制作されました。
More than 11 years have passed since the Great East Japan Earthquake and the accident at the TEPCO’s Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, and Fukushima is making steady progress towards revitalization.
Town development and the vitalization of new industries are proceeding, and the region is reviving slowly to the region before the disaster.
Many people are visiting Fukushima to directly see the past, present, and future of Fukushima, and to learn from it.
There is much to learn from Fukushima, as it progresses from its past of disaster-related damage toward a future as a leading-edge environmental region.

東日本大震災・福島第一原子力発電所事故から10年の節目を迎えるにあたり、災害の実態を書きとめ、その後の復興、そして福島の“今”を伝えるために、「福島環境再生100人の記憶」を発行しました。
様々な立場で環境再生に関わった方や地域の復興に取り組まれてきた方など、計100名（組）のお話を収録しています。決して風化させてはならない貴重な「記憶」の数篇を、本サイトでご紹介いたします。
As we reach the 10th anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake and the accident at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station we have published Fukushima Environmental Restoration: Recollections of 100 Persons in order to record the conditions at the time of the disaster, the subsequent recovery, and the Fukushima of today.
It contains the stories of 100 persons (or groups) who have been involved in environmental restoration and local recovery in a wide range of positions. This website introduces a number of these valuable memories which must not be allowed to fade.
